Find the subscriptions you forgot about using your bank statement, not your memory.

Free trials, apps, and 'I'll cancel later' services keep charging quietly.

Assume they know all their subscriptions. They don't.

Export or scroll three months of card and e-wallet statements. Highlight every charge that repeats. Cancel anything you haven't opened in 30 days.

1. STEP 1Open banking app → statements → last 3 months.
2. STEP 2Mark every repeating merchant name.
3. STEP 3For each one: still using it? If unsure, cancel. You can always re-subscribe.
4. STEP 4Repeat every six months.

You’ll need: Online banking access

• ✓Everyone, at least once.

• ✗You've done this in the last six months.

• !Charges through app stores may show as the store name, so check those separately.
• !Cancel through the service, not just by blocking the card. Blocked cards can create arrears.
